We are seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder to join a very well respected, forward thinking business with a long-term career path for the right candidate. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to work effectively under pressure and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Freight Forwarder – Daily Activities

* Complete orders from start to finish and ensure customs requirements are met.

* Fully conversant with House/Master Bills of Lading issuance

* Completion of export customs entries

* Fully conversant with consular document requirements and how to complete

* Communicating clearly with suppliers, clients and overseas partner networks

* Liaise and build relationships

* End to end responsibility of an order through to sales and purchase production

* Deal with any queries from client throughout the order

Freight Forwarder – The Candidate – Essential Skills

* Experience in a multi-modal freight forwarding logistics arena

* Proficient in Microsoft

* Extremely well organised

* Self-motivated individual who is also a team player

* Able to represent the company professionally

* Strong attention to detail and a tenacity to be accurate

* A starting salary of between £32,000pa and £34,000pa depending on experience
