Position: Deputy Manager Childrens Home
Location: Oldbury, Sandwell/Birmingham
Requirement: Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary:£28,700 - £36,100 (£55 sleep-ins)

We are excited to announce an new opportunity for a Deputy Manager or Senior Residential Childcare Worker within a small yet well-established company comprising of 3 established childrens homes.
The homes specialise in providing care for young people who may have experienced social, behavioural, and emotional challenges stemming from neglect or trauma. They offer a holistic and therapeutic approach to their care which is tailored to their young peoples individual needs.
This role entails working on a rolling rota on a 2-on-4-off shift pattern that includes sleep-ins and occasional weekends.
Salary from£28,700 - £36,100, inclusive of a minimum of 1-2 sleep-ins within your salary (plus additional sleep-ins paid at £55).
As a Deputy Manager within the service you will be required to do the following: Play a pivotal role in offering guidance, assistance, and support to the young people.
Attending to all their practical, physical, and emotional needs while serving as a positive role model.
Collaborating closely with them, you will assist in addressing their challenges and empowering them to reach their full potential.
Working closely with the registered manager, overseeing shifts, providing supervision, and acting as a deputy in their absence.

Requirements: To be eligible for this Deputy Manager position, candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience working with children, young people, or young adults with complex needs within a residential setting, including at least 1.5 years in a Senior Residential Support Worker role.
A Diploma in Childrens Residential Care is essential.
A valid driver's license and availability for shifts, including sleep-ins, are also prerequisites.
