Content Producer
Join us in National Highways at an exciting time for the Communications Group, supporting our campaigns by creating dynamic and compelling content to engage stakeholders and the public.
The Content Producer is responsible for developing and delivering photography and film projects that support our communications objectives and campaigns. Working closely with teams across the business, the Content Producer will plan shoots, capture content, commission freelancers and shape storytelling, for a range of channels, notably social media. The role is primarily based in the midlands/Birmingham and involves regular travel around the country to locations on our network, work sites and corporate offices.
Hybrid role, with main office being The Cube, Birmingham (40% office based with some travel where required)

What youll be leading on
Capture detailed briefs and develop strong relationships with colleagues in the communications group and the wider business, acting as a trusted advisor, providing creative solutions for target audience engagement.
Play a lead role in photography and film projects, including aerial (where drone training and equipment will be provided), producing high quality content, using innovative techniques that engage and inform our audiences through our channels.
Provide editorial guidance to communications colleagues, advising on correct use of film and photography assets to uphold and enhance the companys visual identity, its reputation and wider communications strategy.
Work with the senior production manager, resource manager, content producer and editors on production and editing workflow of film and photography projects, scheduling and collaborating to ensure project deliverables are achieved.
Manage film and photography kit, liaising with the senior production manager to ensure items are serviced, maintained and updated as required
Act as a brand guardian for National Highways, ensuring all materials reflect our visual identity and that brand standards are consistently met, to uphold the companys reputation
To be successful youll need
Proven experience of providing high quality and diverse photography and film services in a corporate environment
Evidence of managing stakeholder relationships, engaging internal and external customers and giving specialist advice to colleagues to support the delivery of projects
Strong understanding of user segmentation and photography and film principles for targeted audiences, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Proficiency in core Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Bridge/Lightroom, Premiere, Acrobat)
Expert understanding of photography and film workflow processes whether for physical or digital delivery platforms
