TIG Welder
My client are a specialised manufacturing company, looking to recruit a full time permanent TIG Welder, the successful candidate will be an experienced welder, with the ability to weld thin gauge stainless and aluminium metals.
Based within a busy workshop environment, must have real attention to details and able to weld stainless steel & aluminium materials to a high standard & in a timely manner, due to meeting clients deadlines for completing project.
The Role
It is essential that the desired candidate is able to weld to a high standard within strict timescales.
To plan welding duties with Workshop Supervisor, agreeing timings that meet the overall assembly program
To cut metal to length from stock when required
Final QA inspection of own work to relevant drawings and spec requirements.
Maintain stock level of standard material sizes and raise requisition orders when items are low
Ensure the workshop clean and tidy at all times
Identify and report issues that could cause production delays or quality problems in good time to the relevant person
The right candidate will have great time management skills to ensure that work projects are completed on time, working within the strict quality guidelines, whilst minimising wastage.
Applicants should possess previous experience of working in an welding/fabrication/ assembly manufacturing environment and must have an eye for quality/detail.
Working hours are:
Day Shift:
Monday - Thursday Friday
Starting pay at £14.00 p/hr + O/T available.
