Area Manager - Domestic Gas in London - Sureserve Group

Job description
K&T Heating provides gas compliance services for local authority, housing association and charity customers, currently managing around 200,000 properties across London and surrounding postcodes. We are looking for a Domestic Area Manager to cover properties and associated engineers. This role will be based from our Brighton office (Portslade), however, the successful applicant is required to visit the patch and engineers regularly.
The purpose of the role is to manage your area-specific contract alongside all operational staff working on these contracts. To report and work closely with the Head of Region/Directors to ensure full operational duties on your Region, and ensuring all KPIs are met with contractual compliance.
Duties
Responsible for customer services including complaint resolution
Work closely with HR colleagues on Employee related issues that may occur throughout the employee lifecycle.
Attend all contract meetings and report back to Head of Region
Monitor parts usage and credit returns to the Stores Department
To ensure compliance is met on all contracts
Responsible for all financial invoicing on time and chargeable extra over work is collated and invoiced
Ensure letter procedure is adhered to and take full responsibility on no access procedure
Achieving and maintain 100% compliancy on servicing
Manage key functions and roles within the Region
Be the main link with our client organisations in terms of contracts management
Handle all forms of feedback from customers and clients and take appropriate action; take a lead on championing customer service
Ensure the fleet of your region is kept to a high standard. Working with the fleet department when necessary, reporting any issues as they happen.
Assist in the preparation of bidding and contracting for new work
Heavily involved in recruiting and monitoring probationary periods.
All associated ad-hoc administrative duties.

Essential Criteria
Previous Area Manager experience preferably from a social housing/construction background.
Able to provide a high level of courteous, professional customer service
Highly proficient in MS Office, in particular Outlook and Excel
Good written and verbal communication skills
Flexible attitude with strong organisational skills
