Fire Alarm Service and Maintenance Engineer Based in the Midlands
Due to company expansion, we have a new and exciting opportunity for someone to join our team working as a Fire Alarm Service and Maintenance Engineer.
Role:
We are looking for someone to join our team who has knowledge, skills and experience in the servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
Successful Candidate:
The ideal candidate would have previous commercial experience in maintaining a variety of different systems and a general knowledge of the current BS5839-1:2017 Standards
Experience in the installation of fire alarm systems would be advantageous as the candidate will be expected to be able to install, upgrade and add onto existing systems, as necessary.
Some knowledge into commissioning of fire alarm systems would also be beneficial.
Experienced in commercial fire alarm servicing and maintenance
Ideally able to test emergency lighting
Knowledge of systems such as 2-wire, Conventional and Addressable
Understanding of the BS5839-1:2017 Standards
It is essential the candidate is willing to travel and able to stay away from home from time to time expenses and accommodation will be provided.

Salary is paid door to door meaning you get paid from leaving home to returning no more unpaid traveling!
Benefits & Salary :
Holiday entitlement 20 days + bank holidays + 1 extra day accrued for every year worked for the company (capped at 25 days)
Salary is negotiable dependant on experience, with 6-month review
KPI bonus for meeting daily & weekly turnover targets (scalable bonus)
Any overnights, the company will pay for accommodation, and pay an additional £40 per evening. (We endeavour to keep the engineers local to where they live so working away from home would be minimal)
Monday to Friday
7am-5pm with an hour for lunch (anything outside of this would be at an enhanced rate)
Door to door pay, salary based.
