Job Description

Principal Ecologist (Town Planning Department - Nutrient Neutrality)
3-month initial contract
Rate Dependant Upon Experience - £38-£50p/h Umbrella

Job Ref - 50875

I am working closely with my LPA client based in Berkshire as they seek an interim Principal Ecologist to assist with Ecology work on planning related matters. This will be on an initial 3-month basis.

Due to a retirement in the team, this busy LPA are seeking a highly experience Ecology professional, with a deep understanding of both Ecology and how to consult and advise planning departments when dealing with a range of planning applications.

You must be able to hit the ground running with minimal to no supervision.

Part-time and full-time hours are considered (with preference being FT) but there is a requirement to be in the office for 2 days per week. This is a non-negotiable at this stage. The council will set you up with a laptop to work remotely the other days.

This is an exciting opportunity, with opportunities to extend beyond the initial 3 month term.

Interviews are due to take place imminently, if this post is of interest, please do get in touch at your earliest convenience to discuss. Further details are available upon request.

It would aid your application is you are a qualified Town Planner and you must have previous Town Planning experience to be considered.

Please call Ben Rose on (phone number removed) for a confidential discussion on this role, or email our planning team if you are short of time to chat:
