Teacher - PMLD School (Early Years)

(Full Time, Temporary)
Leeds
£(Apply online only) per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications )

The School and Role:

This Small, PMLD & SEND Complex Need Special School (Social Emotional and Mental Health needs) School, based in Leeds are looking to appoint a passionate Teacher to work with pupils aged 3-6 on a Full-Time basis to cover a maternity. Working in this PLMD School as part of an established team, the desired Teacher will be working with a high volume of staff in KS1 with pupils with PLMD and complexed needs. This will require working with pupils on their education whilst also working with them on their needs. The desired candidate will have previous knowledge of SEN and can teach Phonics.

Requirements:

The desired teacher will have;

A passion for working with children with additional needs
Experience of Teaching with EYFS and SEND
Understanding of how to work with children with PMLD whilst focusing on both there educational and additional needs.
A passion for the progress of children with complexed needs
An ability to work as part of a team
