Senior Engineer - rail in Birmingham - L. McGarry Ltd.

Danny Sullivan Group are currently looking for a Senior Engineer for rail project in the Kings Heath area of Birmingham
Ideal candidate will have strong rail and civils background for work on station, track and bridge/structures packages.

Responsibilities:
Mentoring Junior Engineers
Producing RAMS/ITPs/TBs
QA documentation
Allocating engineering resource for site engineering activities
Reviewing the construction methodologies
H&S inspections, site audits, toolbox talks
Overseeing engineering work of subcontractors
Reporting to the Site Agent/Project Manager on all engineering aspects of the project
Delivering look aheads and early warnings on possible issues that may slow the project
Advising the Site Agent/Project Manager on hiring of staff
Experience/qualifications:
Experience working on Civils projects ideally in a Rail environment.
Proven technical and project management abilities
Strong organisational and management skills
Knowledge of the requirements and implementation of CDM regulations
Ability to produce Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, and implement safe systems of work
Detailed knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental issues relevant to the project environment
3 years experience in Rail/Construction
PTS
CITB SMTS or equivalent
CSCS
