Junior Mechanical Estimator in Birmingham - Niyaa People Ltd

I'm looking for a Junior Mechanical Estimator with experience with Air Source Heat Pumps and Ground Source Heat Pumps. Experience and knowledge of Renewable Energy & Decarbonisation works is a huge bonus. You will be trained in all aspects of the role, so this is ideal if you're a experienced Heating Engineer with a high attention to detail, looking to progress into an off-the-tools role
This is a hybrid role, 2 days WFH, and 3 days based in the office in Birmingham. The majority of contracts you'll be tendering for will be in the Midlands, but can be nationwide on occasion. These can be social housing or public sector commercial,
The Junior Mechanical Estimator will be responsible for:
Tenders for contracts valuing from £1m - 9m
Liaising with clients and sub-contractors from estimation to project start
Air Source Heat Pump Installations, Ground Source Heat Pump Installations, Air Con installation & maintenance
Contract Negotiations
Engaging with the Bid Team to assist with tenders, case studies, vetting of subcontracors or design queries

Ideally I'd like to speak to Junior Mechanical Estimator that has:
Have a background in ASHP and GSHP
Experience working on the tools as a heating engineer
Good knowledge and aptitude using Microsoft Office

In Return, the Junior Mechanical Estimator will receive:
£45-£50,000 p/a salary
£5,500 car allowance
Fuel Card
Hybrid Working, 2 from home
25 days + Bank Holidays
