Recruit4Staff are proud to represent their client, an internationally renowned construction & civil engineering company in their search for a Design Manager to work on their newly awarded contract in the Deeside
For the successful Design Manager our client is offering:
Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 (Negotiable depending on experience & skillset)
Hybrid working - 3 days in office 8am - 5pm
Permanent Position
Company Pension
Paid work events twice per year
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
The Role - Design Manager
Managing a team of design draughtsman including their training & development
Attending design meetings with clients
Design and detail bespoke cladding, façade and building envelope solutions
To take projects from cradle to grave, including preparation, client approval, full manufacture drawings and schedules for the issue to production.
To communicate effectively and build relationships with Architects and Main-Contractors.
What our client is looking for in a Design Manager
Previous experience in the cladding industry ESSENTIAL
Previous experience in the supervision / management role ESSENTIAL
Design related qualifications (C&G/ NVQ/ HNC/ HND etc.) ESSENTIAL
Knowledge of systems such as Kingspan, Euroclad, Firth Steel, and TATA Steel, including built-up roof and wall systems. ESSENTIAL
Experience with building envelope solutions (cladding, building envelope, fabrication), particularly that of those on 'Industrial Shed' and other 'Commercial' type projects ESSENTIAL
