Here at Nurseplus, we are currently looking to hire a Quality Assurance Advisor for our Quality Assurance Team. The Quality Assurance Advisor is a key member of the Quality Assurance Team. The role is fundamentally about driving best practice and high standards throughout the business by auditing and coaching their branch teams to ensure that Nurseplus meets its legislative, professional and regulatory requirements. The Quality Assurance Advisor is expected to lead by example and recognise the individual abilities within the branch network in order to identify and mitigate risk.

The main duties of the Quality Assurance Advisor role include:
Conduct scheduled audits of branches to ensure compliance with CQC standards, company policies, and legislation.
Produce audit reports with risk assessments and distribute to Branch Managers and Senior Management.
Ensure follow-up on audit findings and provide support and coaching to maintain compliance.
Drive new compliance initiatives and collaborate with operations and training teams.
Assist branches in achieving compliance through guidance and action plans.
Report branch compliance performance and concerns to the Head of Compliance.
Assist in crisis management for high-risk branches.
Maintain knowledge of CQC standards and Nurseplus policies.
Prepare branches for CQC inspections and assist with policy reviews.
Provide guidance on complaints, incidents, accidents, and safeguardings.
Mentor branch teams and conduct training sessions.
Attend company and team meetings, motivate branch teams, and lead by example.

What we are looking for in a successful candidate:
Essential
Have demonstrable experience of proven adherence to compliance requirements within the care sector
Have good knowledge and understanding of CQC regulations
Have a good understanding of and experience with auditing
Have confidence in assessing and understanding risk
Have experience with delivering training
Have a positive attitude and be a team player
Have excellent organisation, scheduling and time management skills
Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Have the ability to coach and mentor staff
Be self motivated and able to work alone and on their own initiative
Be proficient in the use of excel and ability to work across multiple IT systems.
Have valid UK driving licence and a willingness to travel extensively including overnight stays.
Desirable
Experience working in childrens health and social care
Experience and knowledge working with people with Autism and Learning Disability
Experience with implementing or adhering to ISO45001 or ISO14001
Experience working in a clinical setting
Formal auditing qualification
