Job Title: Day Shift Mechanical Engineer
Location: Lewisham
Schedule: 4 on 4 off, Days 7am 7pm
Salary: Technician salary is £47,000 (NVQ 3/Degree standard)
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled Day Shift Mechanical Engineer to join our clients team in Lewisham. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking mechanical planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks, primarily focusing on HVAC systems and plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake mechanical PPM and reactive maintenance tasks.
Work with HVAC systems and plant equipment.
Participate in out of hours call-outs within 90 minutes.
Work collaboratively within a team of 8 engineers.
Undertake training and qualify as an Authorised Person and/or Competent Person.
Eligible for AP/CP bonuses.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
Previous experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
DBS clearance required.
