ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR (Qualified)
Dale Building Maintenance Ltd are a specialist property maintenance company with its Head Office / contact centre based in Cardiff but also has operational offices in Swansea, Bristol, Southampton and Devon / Cornwall.
We have been in business since 1986 and provide maintenance and repair service to a variety of customers ranging from Blue Chip Retail Clients, Housing Associations, Leisure Industry, Government Departments, Insurance Companies and Domestic households.
Due to the award of new contracts we are now seeking to expand our directly employed workforce and require a Electrical Supervisorto be based in and around the South Wales area. The successful applicant must possess the following skills.

We seek experienced professionals who can evidence a desire for continuous personal development in all aspects of their work, while embracing the companys appetite for commercial growth.
We can now offer the opportunity for an Electrical QS based at our head office in Cardiff.
Specific responsibilities include;
Representing the Company as QS for NICEIC.
Continually striving to ensure work undertaken by electricians, both in house and subcontract, meets company and legislative requirements. It is anticipated that this will involve undertaking on-site audits with electrical engineers.
Providing support to our regional contracts managers with compliance of our electricians, visiting the local offices, undertaking occasional Tool Box Talks, signing off electrical condition reports and providing electrical knowledge.
To ensure calibrations of equipment are carried out as and when required and necessary records are maintained.
Work closely with the companys H&S representatives to ensure high standards of work and communications are maintained.
Identify any training requirements that would enhance the teams ability to improve the service provided.
Continually review kit as part of the engineers van stock, identifying items used to see if they remain fit for purpose, where improvement is identified, liaise with suppliers to find a better-quality item and implement this into the van stocks.
Coordination of the companies PAT testing regime.
Identify new opportunities for the business to explore.
What you will need:
Previous experience as a NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor.
Be competent with regulation BS7671:2018, NICEIC audits as well as monitoring and promoting internal quality standards.
General Health and Safety knowledge.
Excellent communications skills are a must as you will be liaising with colleagues, clients and relevant stakeholders at all levels.
The position will be expected to work using their own initiative so evidence of an organised and methodical manner is expected.
Good I.T skills.
Qualifications required for the role are;
18th Edition, 2391/2395 Inspecting and Testing

Guaranteed minimum of 40 hours payment per week
There is usually overtime of 5-10 hours per week but this is not guaranteed
