Production Operative in Bury St Edmunds - CV-Library

We have an immediate start for multiple production operatives, working for one of the most modern upcoming manufacturers in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk!

Anyone with previous experience working in small component assembly, panel building or soldering would be an ideal candidate for this role.

The starting salary for this production position is circa £11.44ph, however there is a comprehensive pay structure in place with the opportunity to be earning over £12.30ph after only 6 months!

Production Operative Duties:

Prepare cables/wiring and soldering these to the correct sensors
Small scale component assembly
Follow very basic wiring diagram
Carrying out routine quality checks/product tests to minimise defects
Follow detailed inspection procedure: Air bubbles, marks, inclusions, cracks, dents, scratches, using height gauges, cleanliness, electrical insulation & continuity
Flexible approach to work to meet customer demands.You will need to have a strong attention to detail and also be computer literate to be considered for this role.

The standard working hours for the company are 08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday, however flexible working hours are available i.e working 07:30 - 16:00.

This role starts on an initial temporary contract, turning into a permanent opportunity after 3 months, where your probationary period will continue with the company.
