Job Description

Shunter Driver

Taskmaster are currently looking to recruit Shunter Driver to join the expanding team of our client based in Baston.

Suitable candidates for the Shunter Driver Position will be required:

* Maintain the general tidiness of all three sites operating a “Clean as you go” policy.

* Waste and recycling.

* Ensure all stock is stored in the correct locations and that stock rotation is adhered to.

* Transport stock between all three sites to aid the efficiency of the manufacturing process.

* Regularly transfer tank inspection sheets from North Site to South Site, ensuring these are delivered to a member of the management team.

* Store all stock in the locations as per company guidelines e.g on Bearers where applicable.

* Complete a visual inspection of all stock before transportation from North Site and report any damages to the Production Manager.

* Safe loading and unloading of vehicles following correct procedures.

* Complete daily forklift and vehicle checks and report any faults to your Line Manager.

* Following H&S procedures and reporting any concerns to your Line Manager.

Experience:

* Excellent Team Player .

* Able to work in a busy environment under pressure.

* Stock management.

* Positive can do attitude.

* Organisational and Time Management Skills.

* An understanding of Health & Safety Procedures.

* Counterbalance Forklift & Driving Licence Essential with the ability to operate a trailer.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30 – 16:30

Pay rate: £13.25 PH
