Exciting role on offer for a Programme Manager looking to join a well-established, family-owned, market leading Civil Engineering Company that specialise in water and drainage projects across Devon and Cornwall.

Do you have experience as a Programme Manager within Construction, Utilities, Water, or similar? Are you looking for a company that will support you in having a progressive career?

This well-established Civil Engineering contractor has been operating across Devon and Cornwall for over four decades, they have seen remarkable growth over the past few years but have managed to maintain their close-knit & supportive environment which is underpinned by their inclusive culture. The business has built a fantastic reputation across the water industry due to their high levels of delivery and service, which has led to record amounts of work coming through. Therefore, they are now recruiting for a Programme Manager to join their highly skilled team to support the next phase of growth.

In this role you will oversee and have overall control of the planned works programme, ensuring smooth management and effective delivery. You will also be responsible for building effective cross department relationships to ensure delivery of works is in line with client specifications, project deadlines, and company objectives. This role will be predominantly office based with some flexibility to work from home and travel to site.

The ideal candidate will have vast experience in Programme Management, various types of industry background will be considered. This role suits someone who is highly motivated, enjoying innovating, and implementing change to how projects are run to assist in the business growth & success. You will also be highly skilled in effectively managing the entire programme through utilising tools such as MSP or Primavera P6.

The Role:
- Oversee and have overall control of the planned works programme, ensuring smooth management and effective delivery.
- Utilise programming tools such as MSP or Primavera P6 to enhance project planning and monitoring
- Effectively build and manage cross-department relationships
- Split between office in Exeter, working from home, and visiting sites across Devon

The Person:
- Experience working as a Programme Manager / PMO Project Manager
- Highly motivated with a can-do attitude
- Full UK Driving license
- Based a commutable distance to the Exeter office, and willing to travel to Sites across Devon and Cornwall when required
