MIG Welder | Fabricator

£13.50ph increasing to £15.00ph, Desborough, Kettering, Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.45pm, Friday 7.30am - 11.30am Permanent after successful temporary period, Immediate Start.

Duties:

Fabricate from drawings.
Operate welding and other machinery.
Mark out cutting |bending lines.
To inspect own work during manufacture and upon completion to ensure that it is defect-free before transfer to the next operation.
Use MIG welding on thin gauge materials.
Completing all relevant paperwork.
Housekeeping of workshop area, ensuring all H&S regulations are always adhered to, including the use of compressed air and flammable materials; to maintain generally safe and clean working areas

The Requirements:

Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Good team player with a positive, proactive attitude to workload and comfortable working to schedules
Excellent attention to detail, good eyesight.
Reliable and flexible approach to work, with a keen willingness to learn and develop new skills.
MIG Welding qualification
Experience of working in a similar role
Able to manage own work and deliver on time.
Reliable and hardworking
