Project Manager - West Midlands - Main Contractor

Skilled Careers is currently in partnership with a prominent Main Contractor engaged in a Major Project within the Midlands that are looking for a Construction Manager to join their team.

As a Construction Manager, you will oversee the Pre-main works, ensuring all tasks are planned and executed with safety and quality standards in mind.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise onsite construction activities, providing instructions to construction personnel to ensure work is carried out efficiently, safely, and meets quality standards.

Maintain a safe working environment throughout the construction process and monitor the productivity of construction teams onsite.

Implement designated construction methods as specified in method statements and procedures, adhering to best safety practices during operations.

Plan and oversee short-term site activities, including requirements, deliveries, installations, and utilities.

Verify and maintain records of delivered materials to ensure compliance with specifications, conducting adequate checks on subcontractor materials.

Ensure adherence to Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) during project execution.

Provide support to site personnel during work execution and ensure the area is cleared upon completion of activities.
