Role Title: DevOps Engineer (SC Cleared)

Rate: £570/d - Umbrella only

Role purpose / summary

Predominantly (but not exclusively) working on AWS
Extensive use of Kubernetes and Docker, including Openshift
Extensive experience of Gitlab/Github for source control
Good understanding of CI/CD's role in delivering software is more important than specific tooling - given we're having to adapt traditional develop low/deploy high approaches to fit our classified integration and deployment needs
Extensive experience of Linux, including scripting, etc.

Key Skills/ requirements

Experience of deploying to Azure
Knowledge of classified working practices/risk appetite/policies in classified environment
We're working across security domains, so any knowledge of cross domain solutions or air gapped is a plus
AWS as initial hosting provider
Containerised apps using Docker and Kubernetes
Apache Jena
Elastic
PostGIS
Kafka
Apache NiFi
AWS Cognito
HTTP REST, GraphQL, SPARQL interfaces
Web apps based on HTML/CSS/Javascript frameworks such as React
