Echocardiographer - CDC - Bath Area - Up to £58,000 - £3000 Joining Bonus - Private Hospital

Summary:
Are you a highly motivated registered Highly Specialist Cardiac Physiologist or Highly specialist Healthcare scientist and have the drive, ambition and commitment to deliver the highest standards of patient care? This Private Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in Somerset, has opportunities for Highly specialist cardiac physiologists with full BSE accreditation and echocardiography skills to join our cardiology team in the New Community Diagnostic Centre. We are looking for motivated and passionate individuals to work flexibly as part of our hospital's developing Community Diagnostic Centre providing the highest standards of professional care to patients and to make a positive contribution towards the team's pursuit of excellence.

Echocardiographer Responsibilities:
• Ensure high-quality patient experience.
• Maintain high standards of care.
• Attend to all cardiology patients requiring testing.
• Maintain RCCP or AHCS registration.
• Hold BSE accreditation.

Echocardiographer Technical Duties:
• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms meeting BSE standards.
• Conduct exercise testing, ambulatory monitoring of ECGs & BP, and pacemaker testing.
• Offer full exercise testing service.
• Hold ILS or minimum BLS with AED annually.
• Provide manual BP monitoring during exercise.
• Interpret ECGs fully.
• Provide echocardiogram reports to BSE standard.
• Assist with Bubble, Stress echo, or 3D studies.
• Operate Echopac reporting system.
• Operate Sentinel system for centralized cardiology reports.
• Instruct patients on ambulatory BP and ECG monitors.
• Interpret and provide reports for BP tests.
• Download and analyze ECG recordings.
• Assure availability of consumables for testing.
• Provide accurate charge sheets and patient lists.
• Familiarity with all cardiac equipment.
• Participate in audit, research, and development.
• Adhere to relevant policies.
• Assist with delegated duties by Hospital Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Current BSE Accreditation.
• AHSC or RCCP registration.
• Cardiac physiology qualification or equivalent.
• Strong IT skills.
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification cardiology experience.
• Ability to prepare and present on cardiology topics.
• Confident and reassuring demeanor.
• Customer service skills.
• Experience with full ambulatory analysis.
• Previous experience with Spacelabs healthcare equipment.
• Knowledge of BSE standards and policies.
• Experience in exercise testing.
• Familiarity with triage processes.
• SCST certificate or diploma.
• Participation in pacing services.
• Management/leadership qualification.
