Location: Hitchin

Salary: £23,795 - £25,000, based on experience

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4.45pm, early finish Fridays

Machinist - Key Responsibilities:

Read Factory Work Order to include “special instructions” and produce items according to the specifications.
Ensure orders are complete prior to sending the product to the next workstation.
Improve work process efficiencies by communicating ideas and or procedures in sewing.
Ensure that aprons being sewn follow a specific sewing instruction.
Ensure work is being completed in correct priority order to Daily work schedule.
Clarify with Production Supervisor any questions regarding work orders.
Maintain a safe, clean work area, to include blowing down the machine and making minor preventative maintenance of machines
Machinist - Skills and Experience:

Experience as a Machinist or using sewing machines
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
Ability to independently follow through all assignments to completion.
