Job Description

A leading Glasgow hospital for surgical and elective services is now looking for a Registered Nurse (RN Adult) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) to join the team as an Ophthalmic Scrub Practitioner.

This flagship hospital is benefitting from an extensive ongoing investment that has kept its facilities and clinical technology at the forefront of the industry, recently seeing refurbishment of its patient bedrooms and the construction of additional operating theatres. As an Ophthalmic Scrub Practitioner, you will scrub for specialist procedures, such as laser eye, cataract, and lens replacement surgeries, within a state-of-the-art environment – contributing to a new standard of excellence and supporting tangible quality-of-life improvements for patients through skilled perioperative care.

This is a permanent, ideally full-time (37.5h)position for anOphthalmic Scrub Practitioner (part-time may also be considered). The ophthalmic unit is open Mon-Fri so no weekends will be required. There is flexibility available for long or short days.
