Your Role:

As a Development Scientist in IVD Development, you will play a critical role in the creation and refinement of novel diagnostic methods. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality, and regulatory, to design, optimize, and validate assays and technologies that will revolutionise the diagnostics landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize new methods for in vitro diagnostic applications, focusing on biochemical, bioassay, or microbiological techniques.
• Design and execute experiments to evaluate performance and feasibility of new diagnostic products.
• Analyse and interpret data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with business objectives.
• Prepare and present reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in IVD technology and industry regulations.

Requirements:

• Advanced degree (BSc, Master's or PhD) in Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related field.
• Proven experience in the development of new methods for in vitro diagnostics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to innovate and think creatively.
• Proficiency in designing experiments and interpreting data.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards in the IVD industry is a plus.
