Job Description

TEC Partners is pleased to be working exclusively with a rapidly growing electrical company who are leading the way in a highly competitive market. Specialising in technical design and manufacture of bespoke electrical installations for the renewable energy, agricultural, marine and construction industries.

As the Quality Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our electrical products. You will be responsible for conducting CAPA's (Corrective and Preventive Actions), managing non-conformities, and overseeing both internal and external audits to maintain compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Management of the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001
Lead and coordinate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) processes to address quality issues promptly and effectively.
Manage non-conformances by identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and monitoring effectiveness.
Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with quality management systems and procedures.
Coordinate external audits with suppliers and regulatory agencies to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
Analyse quality data and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality initiatives and drive continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
Provide guidance and support to manufacturing and engineering teams to maintain quality standards and resolve quality-related issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related Engineering field.
Minimum of 4 years in quality engineering within the electrical manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and related standards.
Experience conducting CAPA's, managing non-conformances, and leading internal and external audits.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification is a plus.
