Role Overview:
As the Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations of our client's branch office in Leicester. Working alongside the existing senior team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of domiciliary care services while upholding regulatory standards and promoting a culture of excellence.
Note: The Registered Manager has to be on call at least one weekend which is mandatory and occasionally second weekend on call to cover.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with administrators, coordinators, and directors to ensure the smooth running of the domiciliary care service.
* Lead, motivate, and support the care team to provide compassionate and high-quality care services.
* Ensure compliance with care standards, CQC regulations, and relevant legislation.
* Manage employee recruitment, training, and retention efforts to maintain a skilled workforce.
* Act as a role model for staff, promoting the highest standards of care provision and adherence to company values.
* Contribute to the development and growth of the branch in alignment with organizational goals.
* Maintain awareness of Key Performance Indicators to drive continuous improvement and success.
Requirements:
* Minimum Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
* Demonstrable experience in domiciliary care and/or care management.
* Strong working knowledge of care standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
* Proven experience in managing teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for delivering high-quality care services.
* Holds a valid driving license and has access to own vehicle.
