£14-16 per hour DOE

Do you have previous experience as a Chef/Cook?

Do you have a sound background in busy kitchens with high-paced daily services?

Our client is looking for experienced Chefs to be part of the team providing quality food production and service at their Canterbury location during the summer months from June 2024

Would suit an experienced Chef who can work at a pace under pressure in a bust environment during a 9 week summer period

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Deliver daily kitchen service and food standards

* Supervise kitchen to ensure good service and experience for clients

* Work as a team to deliver and follow all safe working standards

* Be proactively involved in service prep for each shift

* Help manage inventory and kitchen purchasing needs

* Ensure daily logs and schedules are adhered to

* Operate to hygiene standards at all times

* Ensure services are delivered as smoothly as possible

* Prepare of End of day procedure

Personal Specification:

* Must have 2 years of experience in a Chef role previously

* Must be able to operate and flourish under fast-paced scenarios

* It is essential that the candidate has strong communication skills

* Ability to coach and teach others would be highly desirable
