Material Handler – 12 month contract – Based Farnborough

Our client, a global oil & gas business, is currently looking to hire a suitably experience Material Handler for an initial 12 month contract. This role will be based at their manufacturing facility in Farnborough.

Although initially offered as a temporary contract role this role may transition to a permanent role for the right candidate.

Role Responsibilities:
 
Picks materials, components and end products and deliver them to Production or shipping.
Prepares component kits for production, fills orders and supplier subcontract parts.
Basic technical skills and knowledge in a warehouse environment
Prepare items ready for despatch and verifying paperwork.
Assisting drivers with the loading/unloading of vehicles Processing material and documentation for shipping orders out to customers.
Competency in the use of the business ERP system
Basic administration skills including the ability to prioritise workload.
Dealing with visitors including customer representatives, carriers, and Internal staff in a professional and courteous manner
Perform Daily Cycle Counts
Pay Rate: £13.50p/h + holiday pay

Working hours: 07:30 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 07:30 to 12:30 Friday with two 15-minute tea breaks and half hour for lunch. Opportunity for weekly overtime.
