We provide a complete facilities management solution for the Ministry of Defence Northwood HQ site in London. We provide all non-military support on-site, which includes everything from transport management to ground works and mechanical and electrical engineering.

Within the contract there is a Projects & Life Cycle team , with this role supporting the Department with programming and scheduling of work packages across various workstreams. This includes monitoring and reporting performance measures to ensure that all safety, operational, commercial and customer targets are met or exceeded. Ensure all support services within the projects have recognised, effective and efficient work processes and procedures.

You’ll:

* Assist the Leadership Team in all aspects of delivery performance.

* Support operations to deliver a customer focussed service through robust processes and procedures with Management Information (MI) to inform improvement initiatives.

* Implement and embed approved business improvement initiatives to support the operational unit to outperform its annual targets.

* Agree and monitor key commercial targets, escalating any areas that need immediate or specific focus to the Leadership Team.

* Work with Project Managers to track all P&L packages and escalate any issues that may affect the forecasted programme. Meet regularly with the Client Asset Manager to agree deferral and carry in.

* Drive and embed contract improvement plans.

* Develop and utilise business critical management information to drive performance of staff, teams and subcontractors by specific business unit dashboards /Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).

* Continually reviewing project performance and embedding improvement initiatives across the full operational process.

* Ensure data capture is as efficient as possible and the business unit provides all relevant general and specific data that the contract needs, both for the client and internal use.

We are looking for:

* Proven experience of working in a Project Planning /Scheduling / Performance environment.

* Project management experience

* Capital Works experience would be beneficial

* Demonstrable high standards of safety and customer behaviour, leading by example, promoting safety and customer culture
