Location: Loughborough

Competitive Salary: £47K

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours: Rotating Shift Pattern AM / PM / Nights (Monday to Friday)

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician with a focus on electrical expertise to join our client-dynamic team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of a plant and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform maintenance tasks to uphold plant and facility standards

* Meet targets for plant downtime

* Uphold safety and cleanliness standards in the workplace

* Manage and enhance plant and facility operations in compliance with safety guidelines

* Oversee engineering stores and inventory management

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives

* Utilise CMM systems for reporting and recording tasks

* Foster positive relationships with various departments within the organisation

* Provide engineering solutions and cost-effective repairs

* Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimise plant performance

About You:

* Completion of a time-served apprenticeship, preferably in a multi-skilled capacity

* NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent

* Demonstrated experience in a similar role

* Strong awareness of safety, health, and environmental standards

* Proficiency in fault-finding techniques

* Familiarity with TPM and PPM systems

* Solid IT skills

* Ability to work effectively within a team environment
