Job Description

Our client is a leading SPV and asset management company, providing a comprehensive suite of General and Financial Management, Company Secretarial and Technical Services across the bid development, construction and operational phases of project finance projects.

This 6 month fixed term contract role will provide commercial support to an NHS setting, principally managing variations and the execution of a number of Deeds of Variations, but may include a wider range of activities, such as providing support to operational projects on disputes, advising on commercial matters, supporting General Managers and managing service provider replacement/market testing.

Key Responsibilities inculde:

Provide commercial support and advice to the SPV management teams and Project Board’s to minimize risk/liabilities.
Coordinate commercial negotiations for Deeds of Variations for the Project Agreement and FM Contract.
Act as the primary point of contact for matters relating to the Deeds of Variations.
Agree any unitary charge/service fee adjustments with all parties.
Agree and document any revisions to Functional Areas, Functional Units and Weightings.
Ensure all appropriate insurances are in place on behalf of Project Co.
Liaise with the Technical Adviser and provide the required information to facilitate their report to the Lenders.
Maintain an overall variation account for works costs and professional fees, up to the point of Deed completion.
Attending in person, and via video conference, regular and ad hoc meetings as required.
Provide monthly written updates to the Project Co General Manager, for onward submission to the Project Co Board.
Liaise with General Managers to ensure shared knowledge and best practice, so that adequate policies and procedures are in place, to ensure that the contractual and commercial obligations of the subcontractors/suppliers are met, including against the PA.
Rates are negotiable depending on the candidated experience. 

PFI experience and commercial roles within the industry are essential.
