Staff Selection are hiring for a Mechanical Assembler/ Fitter in Hope Valley!

Responsibilities:

* Perform the installation of bespoke hydraulic, pneumatic, and gas systems for our wide range of furnaces and ovens.

* Read and interpret engineering drawings and basic piping schematics accurately.

* Demonstrate autonomy and initiative in executing mechanical fitting tasks efficiently.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

* Possess a strong skill base in mechanical fitting.

* Previous experience in an industrial background is highly valued.

* Hold a minimum of C&G or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Fitting.

* Ability to read and understand complex Mechanical Drawings proficiently.

* Experience with machining processes such as drilling, milling, and turning is advantageous.

What We Offer:

* Monday to Thursday 8:00 am – 4:45 pm, Friday 8:00 am - 12:30 pm (Early finish on Fridays), totaling 37.50 hours per week.

* £16.83 per hour (£32,818.50 per annum) + £2,000 incentive.
