£40,000 + Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm (12:30pm finish on Friday) + Private Medical Insurance + Pension Scheme

Are you a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer that has experience mentoring engineers, and looking to become a full time trainer and assessor?

Excellent opportunity for someone to take the next step in their career, with a company which specialises in providing apprenticeships through education, mentoring and assessing. You will be training the next generation of Mechanical Maintenance Engineers.

The well-established company are looking to expand, and are looking for someone who has industry experience and has mentored engineers. You must be willing to work towards a teaching qualification or already hold one. The day to day responsibilities for this role will be to educate, train and assess learners core maintenance skills. Candidates who have electrical experience as well as hydraulics, fitting and assembly will have an advantage.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified engineer, have previous experience of training individuals in mechanical engineering, and will meet the requirements of an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

The Role
*Deliver high quality training and assessment
*Teaching core mechanical maintenance skills
*Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:30pm. 12:30pm finish on Friday

The Person
*A Mechanical Engineer
*Experienced in training engineers and be willing to work towards a teaching qualification
*Full Driver's License
*An excellent communicator and highly organised
