Job Description

Concept Resources are proud to be working with Consultancy Business based in the Cotswold's region, who are looking for an experienced Senior Credit Controller to manage their Accounts Receivable function. The ideal candidate will have had 3+ years experience in credit control and have a detail-oriented and organisational approach.

About The Role:

You will be responsible for reviewing reports with the consultants prior to invoicing, creating and sending out invoices to clients, resolving internal and external queries, managing debtors. This is a vital role within the organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts receivable processes.

Job Duties:

* Process accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, posting payments, and reconciling discrepancies.

* Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and update customer accounts accordingly.

* Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with customers to collect outstanding payments

* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and discrepancies

* Prepare and distribute monthly statements to customers

* Assist with month-end closing activities and provide support during audits

* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently

* Analyse financial information to identify trends or potential issues

Person Specification:

* Previous experience in accounts receivable/credit control or a similar finance role

* Proficiency in Sage and MS Office Suite

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks

* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with professional phone etiquette
