Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 pro rata

Join our client, a leading construction company committed to delivering innovative and sustainable projects. We are currently seeking a qualified Senior Town Planner to join our dynamic team on a 6-month contract basis.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing planning applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to the successful delivery of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate planning applications, including preparation, submission, and negotiation.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform planning decisions.
Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and consultants to obtain necessary approvals and permissions.
Provide expert advice on planning policies, regulations, and best practices.
Collaborate with project teams to integrate planning considerations into design and construction processes.
Monitor and update project schedules to ensure timely completion of planning milestones.
Qualifications and Experience:
Degree educated in Town Planning or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in town planning, preferably within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation, policies, and procedures.
Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Membership of a relevant professional body (RTPI) is desirable but not essential.
