Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Executive / Business Development Manager to join a successful, innovative and growing specialist vehicle manufacturer business in Sheffield.
My client is going from strength to strength and have recently added minibuses to theiralready extensive portfolio of motorhomes, equine transport and welfare units.
We are looking for a driven and entrepreneurial person, with strong numerical and financial capabilities ready to immerse themselves into the rapidly growing business of selling leisure vehicles.
The role is challenging and diverse and requires you to be commercially aware of the existing markets and trends.
The role:
You will be responsible for driving sales, in both existing sectors as well as new identified growth areas.
You will be predominantly office based, as well as spending a few days per month visiting customers.
The main aspect of the role is Identifying and generating new profitable sales opportunities and routes to market within the portfolio of products and drive strong sales results.
Exceed monthly, quarterly, annual revenue targets and other critical success metrics.
Grow the revenue base via new business sales, up sell and cross sell.
Build and leverage a strong network of commercial relationships.
Skills and Experience:
You should:
Have extensive experience developing new/existing clients and the planning strategy around it.
Be experienced in cold calling.
Be strategic and highly commercial in order to build business case in cooperation with our customers.
Have a successful track record in selling new products.
Be articulate and assertive, able to motivate and encourage others with a natural confidence to influence and persuade customers at all levels.
Experience in the LCV industry is highly desirable
Candidates who have Business to Business experience are preferred.
