Associate Civil Engineer - Consultancy - London - Full Time - Permanent
We're looking for an Associate Civil Engineer in Central London!
The Company:
An international, multidisciplinary consultancy. Since being established in the 1980's they have since grown steadily and significantly to become one of the leading consultancies internationally, within their areas of expertise. There are approx. 800 expert staff in the company internationally, and the London office in Southwark sits circa. 200 engineers.
The Role:
Due to a healthy forward pipeline, we have been instructed to find an Associate Geotechnical Engineer on the company's behalf. You will have the opportunity to directly contribute to the growth of the team and to manage and deliver the geotechnical aspects of a variety of prestigious buildings and infrastructure projects within the UK and overseas. This role will provide the candidate with continuous exposure to collaborate with other teams and disciplines in the UK and overseas, as well as to interface with existing and prospective clients.
Requirements:
Experienced in the design of foundation and substructure systems, ground movement assessment and impact assessment of existing assets and monitoring related activities;
Fluent in industry standard software, which may include Plaxis 2D, Plaxis 3D, OASYS Wallap and Slope W;
Chartered Member of the ICE or the Geotechnical Society or equivalent experience;
A proficient project leader and manager;
An inspiring team motivator and mentor.
