Manufacturing Manager
£50,000 - £56,000 + Benefits
Hastings, East Sussex
Monday to Friday (40 Hours)
Are you from a Manufacturing background with experience in leading teams and are looking to join a fast paced manufacturing facility, for a company who are at the forefront of their technologies, with tailored development and scope to progress?
In this role you will be responsible for managing the workload of multiple channels, including toolroom, facilities, maintenance, NPI, continuous improvement and cost reduction, whilst also optimising and stabilising the current manufacturing processes. You will liaise with the design function and project managers to assist in the rolling out of new products in an efficient way.

The company is a market leader in the connectivity sector, and have been at the forefront of their technologies for over 80 years! Operation globally their range of products and services vary from energy and power, through to antennas, sensors and fiber optics. The industries they supply into also have huge variety, from automotive, through to industrial machinery, oil and gas and even artificial intelligence.
The Role:
Oversee the Manufacturing function in a faced moving production facility
Oversee multifunctional teams, liaising with various departments
Spearhead continuous improvement and cost reduction through LEAN
Manage the workload of staff, conducting appraisals (roughly 10 Manufacturing Engineers and 6 Tooling Operatives)
Monday to Friday, days based role
The Person:
Manufacturing background
Leadership experience
LEAN manufacturing knowledge (5S, 8D, Cell Design)
Hands on background of CNC machines and tooling
