Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Lancashire County Council's Duty and Assessment Team based in Preston. This is a full time role, with a fantastic pay rate of £34 - £38 per hour.

Responsibilities:
Engage with children and their parents.
Will be reliable and provide stability and ambition for children and their families during the time they are working with us.
Ensure Assessments are completed in a timely way for children and families who should be getting the rights services at the right time.
Completion of Child & Family Assessments, coordinating of Child In Need Planning, Strategy Meeting/S 47
Enquiries to progress to Initial Child Protection Conference.
Strong reflection and analytical skills and ability to assess and manage risk required.
Court experience - around initiation of proceedings/ EPO applications etc desirable.
Knowledge of Signs of Safety and Safe & Together desirable.
Requirements:
Social Work England registered
Social Work Degree or equivalent
Enhanced DBS
