As a niche and highly specialised Marine civil contractor, they offer a unique service to their client base which sits across both the Public and Private Sectors, including high net worth individuals. Typically operating as a Principal Contractor, they delivery design & build projects up to around £12M in value. They excel at winning work by offering alternate technical solutions and add further value through ECI process.

As a Site Manager, you will support in the delivery of ongoing projects across the West Midlands area. Projects would typically sit in the sub £1M category and your main client would be the Environment Agency.

Key responsibilities will include:
Maintain a positive and productive working culture by creating a High performing Team
Maintain a good working environment on site, encourage feedback and ideas from all personnel on site and instil a good work ethic.
Carry out works in a safe manner with minimal risk to human health.  Ensure your site is run to the highest standards.
Ensure all environmental legislation is followed, carry out works with a minimal impact to the environment and consider environmental impact and sustainability with procurement decisions
Ensure that all waste material generated is disposed of in accordance with the SWMP and Waste Management Licensing Regulations
Compile Budget with DBM & QS and accurately record costs
Understand the contract programme, the critical path operations, and the critical deliverables 
Procurement of materials and resources
Plan works ahead and have contingency plans in place 
Understand the contract document
Identify and manage change to the original contract scope 

To be successful in this position, it is anticipated that you will hold a minimum of 5 years operational experience in managing construction sites, be SMSTS qualified, hold a CSCS Black Card, 3day First Aid at Work Qualified and be a Temporary works Supervisor

On offer is a salary of between 45,000 - 55,000 per annum with a commercial vehicle (4x4), paid travel, matched contribution pension, profit share bonus and 25 days holiday
