Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join our client's team. As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for programming and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality parts and components. Your expertise in basic maths, mechanical knowledge, and logic controllers will be essential in ensuring accurate and efficient machining processes.

Duties
- Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality output
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize machining processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in basic math calculations for precise measurements and calculations
- Strong mechanical knowledge to understand machine operations and troubleshoot issues
- Familiarity with tooling and tool maintenance
- Experience with logic controllers for programming CNC machines
- Knowledge of hand tools for machine setup and adjustment
- Experience working in a warehouse environment with materials handling
- Ability to assemble components according to specifications
