Quality Engineer in Fleckney - CV-Library

We have an exciting opportunity a quality focused person to join the team of our client who are based in Fleckney. The role will support the quality manager to ensure customer satisfaction.

The quality engineer will ensure that you are continually improving the operating systems, performance and constantly meets customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities for a Quality Engineer:

* Be competent and skilled to use all and any type of problem solving tools and methods throughout the organisation

* Cascade, train and develop others in problem solving tools and techniques

* Implementation of verified permanent corrective actions and improvements

* Define and communicate metrology requirements and outputs to cross functional teams clearly both verbally and written.

* Follow up communications to check the understanding once delivered

* Update and control work instructions, standard operating procedures, and any other associated documents to ensure the effective control of metrology

* Help ensure that data analysis, control records, inspection reports etc. are correct and updated timely and regularly and are retrievable

* Directly support the Quality Manager and all other quality colleagues in any required day to day quality activities, so ensuring customer satisfaction and that all matters relevant to the department are sufficiently dealt with to provide a professional and efficient service to both internal and external customers.

Essential skills for a Quality Engineer:

* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

* Previous experience in a quality related role

* Computer literate

* Strong communication skills

* Self-motivated and able to work independently on maintenance tasks

* Full UK driver’s license
