The Vale has successfully re-organised our teams and have considerably expanded our workforce to meet demand. We are now looking for the right people to fill those positions and deliver bespoke strength-based services that recognises the expertise of our children, families and workers, and puts relationships at the heart of everything we do.

We offer a hybrid and flexible working model. Across all services and teams we are very clear that workloads need to be manageable to enable workers to support families in the best way possible, and to support work life balance and sustainability in the workforce.

All candidates will be registered with Social Care Wales and need to be able to travel to the Vale as needed, on occasion at short notice.

Qualified Social Workers - Child Protection and Court Work - £39,834 - £48,421 per annum, including £5,000 annual enhancement
Practitioner Managers/Senior Practitioners/Assistant Team Managers - £49,428 - £52,420 per annum, including £5,000 annual enhancement
Team manager (must have at least 2 years post qualifying management/supervisory experience) - £53,474 - £56,515 per annum, including £5,000 annual enhancementThe minimum requirements for this role are:
Social Care Wales registration
Social Work Qualification
Experience with Children's Services
