In this crucial role, you'll play a central part in ensuring the safety and well-being of looked-after children by providing exceptional support and guidance to foster carers, social workers, and other professionals.

What You'll Do:

Champion child safety: Uphold fostering regulations and national standards to guarantee the well-being of children in care.
Lead with expertise: Provide direction and support to foster carers, supervise social workers and family support workers, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
Ensure quality care: Conduct regular checks of placements, care plans, and risk assessments to maintain the highest standards.
Build a strong fostering network: Assist in recruiting, assessing, and training foster carers to meet the needs of vulnerable children.
Foster collaboration: Work effectively with a diverse team of professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and families.Are You the Perfect Fit?

Hold a qualifying social work degree and have relevant experience in fostering or children's services.
Possess strong leadership qualities, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding procedures.
