Title: CNC Programmer / CNC Setter

Salary £34000-£35000

Major Recruitment are currently seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator for a full-time position based in Barrow in Furness.

This is a permanent role with full-time hours onsite, Monday to Wednesday from 7:30am to 6pm, and Thursday from 7:30am to 4pm.

The primary responsibilities include interpreting engineering drawings according to customer specifications and working with various materials such as low carbon steels and alloy nickel materials using CNC Lathe machines.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting up and operating CNC machines
Working with supervisors, production managers, and colleagues to achieve targets
working on your own and as a team to resolve operational issues
Promptly reporting any technical problems
Adhering to strict health and safety standards
Documenting job cards and work-in-progress (WIP) tickets
Maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of the work area, including managing oil and coolant spills.Benefits:
