An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graphic Designer at an entry level into our business supporting our Senior Graphic Designer. You will join an ambitious, leading publisher/event organiser and online intelligence provider within our sector operating with a global client base. As our Graphic Designer you will be carrying out arrange of duties and we can offer the opportunity to learn and develop within our business operating within a prestigious business sector.
This role would suit either a recent University or College leaver seeking their first Graphic Design position or you may have gained 6 to 12 months relevant experience and be looking to further your career and build upon your Graphic Design or similar education and qualifications that you have gained at A Level, BTEC or Degree level. You will join a dynamic company working Mon to Fri 9 – 5.30pm with free parking, on site gym and café with scope to develop your role within the business and ultimately your career.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and forward-thinking marketing department and support ongoing global brand development of our media and events portfolios.

Key tasks:
• Supporting the creative team to follow designs and artwork from their conception to final sign-off.
• Ensuring design content is at a consistent high standard for flow, structure, clarity and style.
• Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for print and digital publications, company marketing material and product illustrations.
• Editing and creating video content.
• Taking responsibility for design stages of assigned projects and working to strict deadlines.
• Ensuring all products follow company brand/style guidelines and business quality standards.
• Curate and create corporate designs across a range of formats.
• Proof checking and formatting documents before they're ready to publish.
• Setting up, managing and archiving accurate artwork files and supplying to relevant stakeholders.
• Managing and updating an in-house image library.
• Creating digital assets to size and scale.
• Adapting existing artwork to alternative layouts and/or formats.
• Acting as a point of contact for the artwork department.
• Working with various departments to oversee the smooth implementation of new content.
• Keeping up to date with the latest design trends in media.

Experience and skills:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in graphic design or artwork publishing, or a minimum 6 months to 1 year working experience in a similar role.
• Solid IT skills, especially with design and photo/video-editing software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Premier Pro, Rush, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
• Exceptional creativity and innovation.
• A team player with excellent organisational skills and time management.
• Ability to work accurately with attention to detail, whilst under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills with a flexible and positive/professional approach.
