Job Description

Bored of doing the same thing day in, day out and wanting to try your hand at machining complex parts on a variety of different machinery? Well, look no further… This position will allow you to work on some exciting R&D projects, machining complex one off moulds and tooling for a whole host of different projects and industries! Alongside this, an attractive salary and working environment make this role one you can't miss out on!

The Role;

You will be programming, setting and operating 5 axis Hurco milling machines, as well as sometimes running lathes, manual machines and EDM machines. This is very much a prototype machining environment where they want you to try your hand at multiple things, so no two days will be the same! Ideally you will be able to make small edits at the controls or even program offline using specialist CAD/CAM software.

What we need from you;

Experienced setting and operating milling machines up to 5 axis - Hurco machine experience would be advantageous.
Overall engineering knowledge, ideally apprentice trained or from a toolmaking background
A willingness to work on a variety of machines - milling, turning, manual machining, wire erosion, injection moulding, for example.
If you don't just want to be stuck doing the same thing daily, then click apply and Chris Smith will be In contact with the full details of the role! Alternatively, give him a call on (phone number removed) and he would be happy to go through the details then too. Even if your CV isn't fully up to date, he will be happy to assist with this!
