Head Resourcing are recruiting for a senior consultant on behalf of a non for profit company based in Edinburgh or Inverness. They're a charity who provide services and advice to help homeowners and businesses make their properties more energy efficient.

The senior consultant will project manage a variety of jobs, maintaining strong client relationships, allocating responsibilities to team members, ensuring project excellence, and managing projects to achieve aims on time and within budget. They will produce technical specifications for heat and power projects, write reports with clear conclusions and recommendations, and stay informed on energy sector trends to provide strategic insight.
In addition to this the ideal candidate will have experience with stakeholder management/business development and also mentoring junior members of the team.

In-depth knowledge of energy systems, market trends, technologies, and finance structures.

Capability to identify and pursue new work opportunities and funding sources.
Strategic insight to inform organizational direction in the low carbon energy transition.
Experience with business development, bringing in new work and maintaining relationships with existing clients.

Benefits:

A salary of £42 - £46k
8% employer pension contribution.
Hybrid working model (home and office) in Edinburgh or Inverness. Two days in the office are required, 1 on Tuesday and the other is at the discretion of the individual and their team.
The role is 35 hours a week and offers a holiday allowance of 26 days per annum plus 9 public holidays
