Position: Expeditor
Location: Southampton

Hourly Rate: £15-17 per hour
Duration: 6 month contract

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments to meet production schedules.
Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues that may arise.
Monitor inventory levels and anticipate potential shortages, taking proactive measures to prevent delays in production.
Collaborate with production managers to prioritize orders and allocate resources effectively.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and supplier performance.Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
