Job Description

Panel wirer & Fitter required, Park Farm Wellingborough, Monday to Friday working 37 hours per week, early finish Friday Salary negotiable DOE Long term opportunity for the right candidate

Travail Employment Group have a fantastic opportunity for an Panel Fitter / Panel Wirer to join our client who manufacture bespoke machinery to handle liquids and resins. You will be joining a very established and innovative company who are specialists in what they do.

Responsibilities

As an Electrical Panel Wirer / Panel Fitter you will be undertaking the following duties

Under limited supervision be able to assemble both standard and bespoke machinery to exact specifications
Assemble both electrical and Pneumatic control cabinets
To build Panels, layout and fit cable trunking and assemble electrical components onto back panels
Fit various electrical components into bespoke mixing and dispensing machines
Dry testing of the machinery to ensure the quality and performance
Keeping manufacturing records up to date
Support both the engineering and lab departments of changes and modifications to the build
Lifting parts weighing 10kg - 20kg as an average.
Using small hand & power tools gauges and pump truck (occasionally)Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for this role, to have City & Guilds part 1 & 2 in electrical engineering would be preferred along with problem solving skills. You will be able to demonstrate and give examples of your previous experience as part of the interview process and show knowledge and experience in the following areas

Essential

Previous experience of building and wiring complete machines
Complete wiring and assembling of electrical panels from bare panel to the end product.
Be experienced in pneumatic and electrical assembly.
Machine assembly knowledge
Be able to read and work from drawings build instructions photographs 3D Models and machine specifications
Be good at problem solving
Be a team player but can also work on their own initiative
Show a willingness to learn new skills
Have excellent communication skills.Desirable

Come from a mechanical background as well as electrical

Additional information

Frequent standing walking, lifting pushing and pulling. There will be some exposure to physical and chemical hazards such as chemical fumes and odours.
